YouthShaped
We're the team to help empower young people to stand up for what they believe in and lead their peers.
Upcoming YouthShaped Dates
The county youth team works to ensure that young people’s voices are at the heart of what we do in scouting. We support volunteers across the county in creating opportunities to youth voice, especially our district youth teams who do huge amounts of work at a local level.
Dee, the County Youth Lead, looks after the team and sits on the county trustee board and as a part of the county leadership team to make sure youth voice is present right from the top of the organisation.
Arthur, a member of the team, also sits on the trustee board and supports our Elected Youth Representatives: under 18s who attend trustee board meetings to make sure that we’re hearing directly from the views of young people
Jamie, the 3rd member of the team, supports our in person events such as County Youth Council, which gives young people an opportunity to speak up about what they want to change in the county.
If you would like any support with youth voice please email dee.wright@hampshirescouts.org.uk
