Expedition Quick Guide & Registering your expedition
We have lots of resources to help you and your leaders to organise the expedition section. Our Expedition Quick Guide tells you what you need to do to get your expedition organised. This takes you through the steps to organise your expedition and has links to all the relevant resources. You can register your qualifying expedition and request an assessor on the online Expedition Notification Form.

- Conditions – There is a list of the 20 conditions which need to be met and how to apply for a variation
- Expedition area information is available on the New Forest and Wild Country areas.
- Campsites – a list of campsites for Hampshire, Dorset & New Forest, Scouting Campsites & Wild Country areas
- Routecards – a number of different route plans in paper, excel and for water expeditions.
- Risk assessments – Risk Assessments for walking and water expeditions & Stove Safety guidelines.
