Our Districts
Hampshire Scouts is made up of 19 Districts, all delivering to Scouts locally. Below is a list of all of our Districts, along with a brief description of the areas they cover, and links to their websites.
Andover
Serving our communities within Andover and all around including Stockbridge, Whitchurch, Middle Wallop and Tidworth.
Arrow
The place to be for Scouts in Eastleigh and Chandler’s Ford including Fair Oak, Bishopstoke, Allbrook, Otterbourne and Hiltingbury.
Basingstoke East
Covering the City Centre and areas to the East including Old Basing, Chineham and Sherfield Park. Home to Basingstoke Scout Shop.
Basingstoke West
Covering the suburbs to the West of Basingstoke including Winklebury, Worting, Hatch Warren, Sherborne St. John, Oakley and Tadley.
Blackwater Valley
On the Hampshire Surrey border, the Blackwater Valley covers Aldershot, Ash, Farnborough and Cove. Home to Blackwater Valley Scout Shop.
Bramshill
Covering Hook, Yateley and Hartley Wintney with the Bramshill Site of Special Scientific Interest with its wood and heath at its heart.
City of Portsmouth
From Hilsea to Southsea, Old Town to Cosham you’re never too far away from the Scouts. Home to Portsmouth Scout Shop in Hilsea.
Denewulf
Covering the dense town centre of industrial Fareham, the historic Portchester and villages throughout the Meon Valley.
Fareham West
Covering everywhere between the Western edge of Fareham and the River Hamble including Stubbington, Locks Heath and Whiteley.
Gosport
With connections to both Air and Sea, this district covers the town of Gosport as well as Rowner, Bridgemary and Lee-on-the-Solent.
Hawk
Covering Havant and the areas of Bedhampton, Leigh Park, Rolands Castle, Emsworth and Hayling Island. Home to Havant Scout Shop.
New Forest
Stretching across the north of the New Forest National Park serving Totton, Ringwood, Fordingbridge, Burley and Lyndhurst.
New Forest Solent
From Southampton Water, to Brockenhurst and Sway in the New Forest and Lymington, New Milton and Keyhaven on the coast.
Odiham
Nestled in the top corner of Hampshire, we cover the towns of Odiham and Fleet and the village of Church Crookham. Home to Odiham Scout Shop.
Romsey
From the historic market town of Romsey to the surrounding villages including Wellow, North Baddesley and King’s Somborne.
Southampton City
From the Test to the Itchen, Southampton City Centre is covered along with the neighbourhoods of Shirley, Portswood, Northam and Millbrook.
Winchester
The capital of Wessex, covering the city of Winchester and the neighbourhoods of Colden Common, Shawford and Micheldever.
