Our collection is built around the everyday Scout items that have been well loved over many years. They have a story surrounding them and are part of our wider story of Scouts in Hampshire.

If you’ve got something stored away in your attic or your Scout HQ that you think would contribute to our collection, do get in touch.

What kind of items suit the collection?

• Any old camping items for our 1900s Scout Camp.
• Projects completed for badgework
• Photographs of Scouts doing activities through the years.
• Memories and memorabilia from Gang Shows
• Documents related to Scout Groups.
• Any rare memorabilia

What counts as Heritage?

Short answer is anything linked to the Scouts that we can collect.

It’s not just badges and uniforms. Handbooks, magazines and records are all valuable ways we tell our story with photographs, artefacts and oral history to bring the history to life.
