Design our 120th Anniversary badge
23 August 2026
In 2027 it will be 120 years since the very first Scout camp happened on Brownsea Island, and to celebrate Hampshire Scouts will be producing a special uniform badge to celebrate such an amazing milestone.
We would like to invite everyone in the county to submit their ideas to design this very important badge. Everyone is welcome to an idea, from our youngest Squirrel all the way up to our oldest adult volunteer.
The badge designs will be judged at the County Conference on 17th October 2026. Initially the attendees at the conference will short-list the best design from a Squirrel, Beaver, Cub, Scout, Explorer and Adult volunteer, before then voting for the winning design.
The winning design will be produced and supplied free of charge to everyone that is listed on the Annual Census in January 2027. Additional badges will be available to purchase from County Office throughout the year, so that every new person that joins Hampshire Scouts during 2027 will be able to join in with the celebrations.
The badge can be any shape or colour, but your design must fit inside the box, and the finished design will be no larger than 6cm x 6cm.
Please complete your design using the form available here, fill in your personal details and return it to [email protected], or post it to:-
