We are looking for the following people to continue our inspirational support activities in Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth and University Hospital Southampton and Naomi House & Jacks Place, Sutton Scotney:
Lead Volunteer Manager – to manage and support current HSIH Leader Teams throughout Hampshire in order to enable them to provide activity sessions for patients as part of the offering of the scout active support group.
Lead Volunteer Southampton – to organise and manage activity sessions for patients in Southampton Children's Hospital as part of the offering of the scout active support group - Hampshire Scouts in Hospitals and the rules and policies of the Scout Association.
Lead Volunteer Naomi House - to organise and manage activity sessions for patients in Naomi House and Jacks Place as part of the offering of the active support group.
Treasurer – to maintain a simple operational income & expenditure spreadsheet to submit to the County Treasurer at quarterly intervals – no cash handling.
Secretary – to call, attend and maintain notes for all HSiH Management Team meetings (one being the Annual Meeting) five per year. This may be of interest to a young leader who wishes to perhaps understand more about the Governance side of operational scouting.

Hospital Scouts, entered 2021 still in virtual mode, and remained that way all year, unable to return to the wards to see patients in person. Despite the challenges that posed, we still provided weekly zoom sessions to Southampton Children's Hospital and activity packs to Queen Alexandra Hospitals. Overall we reached 185 patients via zoom and provided 165 activity packs.
