Join the Young Leader Team for an engaging and practical workshop designed specifically for Adult Volunteers who support – or are interested in supporting – the Young Leader Scheme.

This session will provide a comprehensive overview of the entire Young Leader Scheme, covering all modules and missions, how the programme fits within sections, and the expectations and opportunities available to Young Leaders. Whether you’re new to the scheme or looking for a refresher, this workshop will help you feel confident in your role.

We’ll explore:

• The structure of the Young Leader Scheme (Modules A–K and Missions)
• How to effectively support Young Leaders within your section
• Best practice for mentoring, reviewing progress, and providing constructive feedback
• How to correctly sign off on modules and missions
• Recording progress and ensuring Young Leaders are recognised for their achievements
• Common challenges and how to overcome them

There will also be opportunities to ask questions, share experiences, and find out more about how the County Young Leader Team is improving our Young Leader experience.

This workshop is open to all Adult Volunteers who currently support Young Leaders or would like to get more involved in the scheme. Come along to build your confidence, develop your understanding, and ensure every Young Leader receives the best possible support.
