Financial support for community organisations struggling as a result of Covid-19 is available – that includes Scout Groups across Hampshire too!
The National Lottery Community Fund and Movement for Good are two, among many,organisations now offering support to those organisations in need.
For now, the National Lottery Community Fund are prioritising funding projects and organisations supporting communities through the COVID-19 pandemic.
It’s reviewing the situation on an on-going basis and will share any updates or developments on our website.
There’s limited funding to support as many organisations as possible. So please only ask for what you need to support communities during this crisis.

This scheme provides the opportunity for charities to apply for up to £1,000 grant.
500 charities will each receive £1,000 during the first phase of the campaign, which has launched recently.
More than £1,000 awards are open to eligible charities registered in the UK and Republic of Ireland - these could range from smaller volunteer-run groups to larger, well-known organisations.
To boost the chances of a charity being successful, the more nominations that they receive boost them up the list.
Nominations are currently closed for new applications, however, a second phase of giving will be announced in the next few weeks.
